Les Potts said, 2012 was an excellent year for Jaguar Land Rover, January 2013 has continued the trend with sales up 32% worldwide. The all new Range Rover was also launched in this month which is the world’s first all-aluminium monocoque body structure which is 39 per cent lighter than the steel body in the previous Range Rover, representing a weight saving of over 180kg for the bodyshell alone. The technology on the new Range Rover surpasses the previous model in every area, with the introduction of a diesel electric version later this year I am hoping for 45mpg on the TDV6 variant. Myself and my Workshop Foreman have completed the introduction course and we have cascaded key information to the other employees at Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive. We look forward to seeing our current and new customers in 2013 at our state of the art 7000 sq ft facility in Sunderland.
