Our passion is delighting our customers with our service. As well as guaranteeing a first class job on your vehicle. We provide a free collection and delivery service anywhere in the North East. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our ‘while you wait’ service and utilise complimentary phone and fax services in the warm and friendly surroundings of our reception area. Finally, we carry out complimentary check-overs for winter motoring and summer holidays and also free MOT pre-tests.

We provide fixed price servicing on all Land Rover models and we guarantee that all work is carried out to the manufacturer’s specification using only genuine parts and high quality Castrol lubricants.
Servicing your vehicle at Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive will not invalidate your Land Rover three year unlimited mileage warranty. We would be delighted to carry out any Land Rover Approved Warranty repairs if required.
And just to ensure an unequalled level of customer satisfaction, Managing Director, Les Potts, or Workshop Supervisor, Alan Price, personally test drive all vehicles after a service.

Heading up the team is Managing Director, Les Potts, who is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Motor Industry and a certified Automotive Engineer. Les worked in a Land Rover dealership for 11 years before establishing Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive in April 1997
Over the years, Les has picked up many accolades for his work, most notably in 1995 he became the national winner of the inaugural Land Rover Autocourse, which focused on new technology developments across the product range. In 1996, Les was discouraged from entering to give other technicians a better chance
Not to be outdone, Alan Price, workshop supervisor at Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive since its formation in 1997, was the national winner of the Thomas Adams Award in 2002 for best IMI National Technical Student and is now an Associate Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry.
The high quality service we pride ourselves on at Les Potts 4 Wheel drive, is assured through our in-house training programme. All our technicians are working through the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (Technical Certificate) programme and in-house training, supervised by Les and Alan, ensures first class product knowledge.
In 2005 Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive became a founder member of The Network of 4X4 Specialists. According to research undertaken by the Network, 78 per cent of Land Rover owners believe that vehicle servicing and repairs at dealerships are too expensive. Yet at least 80 per cent of four wheel drive vehicles under 4 years old are serviced by their main dealer. The issue of price has been noted by the Office of Fair Trading who, in a report from December 2003, said: "The evidence indicates that franchised dealers are significantly more expensive than independent garages and there is no clear difference in quality between the services offered by each".
Furthermore Les Potts 4 Wheel Drive is a member of both the Institute of Motor Industry Brass Plaque scheme and the Retail Motor Industry Federation and by adhering at all times to the strict codes of conduct set out by these organisations we enhance our quality service even further!
