All-new Freelander 2 prices
Land Rover today releases prices on the all-new Freelander 2, starting from £20,935 and rising to £33,990, on the road.

New Land Rover CO2 Offset Programme
Land Rover and Climate Care today announced what is the largest and most comprehensive CO2 offset programme ever undertaken by an automotive manufacturer in the UK. In a pioneering step, Land Rover has chosen to source all offsets for the programme by investing solely in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. The pilot scheme, which is scheduled to run until the end of 2008, is expected to offset over two million tonnes of CO2.

The 2007 model year Range Rover will start from £53,995 and is available later this month from Land Rover dealerships throughout the UK.

All-New Freelander 2 with Dolby Pro Logic II 7.1 surround sound
Land Rover’s latest car, the all-new Freelander 2, will be the first-ever automotive application of Dolby® Pro Logic II® 7.1 surround sound technology, developed specifically for the unique listening environment of the car. The technology, more familiarly seen in high-end home cinema and entertainment systems, immerses occupants in an all-enveloping sound experience. In another debut, it is the first Land Rover Sound System by car audiophiles Alpine, renowned for faithful music reproduction, just as the artist intended.

Comprehensive Improvements to Iconic Defender for 2007
Greater ability both on-road and off-road plus increased comfort, performance and refinement are among the major improvements introduced for the Land Rover Defender for 2007. A new 2.4-litre diesel engine offers increased torque and improved driveability while the new six-speed gearbox provides a lower first gear ratio, for better off-road control, and a high sixth gear for improved cruising refinement. Inside the vehicle, a new facia improves ergonomics, whilst new seating improves comfort for all occupants, from the four-seat Defender 90 to the five-seat 110 and 130 models. A seven-seat Defender 110 is also available.

Land Rover's all new Freelander 2 has emerged as one of the stars of the British International Motor Show. Visitors have flocked to the Land Rover stand to get their first views of the exciting new compact 4x4, which made its world debut at the show at London's ExCeL exhibition centre.

New Freelander 2 debut at British International Motor Show
Land Rover's all-new Freelander 2 makes its world debut at the British International Motor Show at ExCeL in London's Docklands. The vehicle is displayed on the Land Rover show stand alongside an updated, 2007 model year Range Rover TDV8, a Range Rover Sport TDV6 and a Discovery 3 TDV6.

Land Rover G4 Challenge
Network television's Channel 4 will show six, half-hour episodes on the Land Rover G4 Challenge in its Saturday morning adventure and extreme sports time slot for six weeks through August and into September.
