Land Rover has pushed up prices on the Discovery range, but fitted extra equipment to some models and included all cars on a carbon dioxide off-set programme.

Entry-level TDV6 five-seaters are now priced from £27,215, a small increase of £175. As well as a carbon dioxide off-set for 45,000 miles, it now comes with a one-touch passenger electric window.

All models now have the option of a £999 Land Rover Watch tracking system, which includes a year's subscription to track stolen vehicles across Europe.

The cheapest seven-seater, the TDV6 GS, is up by £675 to £29,715, but also includes rear parking sensors as standard for the first time.

New XS versions of the diesel replace S models and at £32,715 for the diesel and £38,690 for the petrol, they are £650 to £675 more expensive.

SE cars are £175 more expensive at £37,215, and now allow the standard sat-nav system to be programmed with a destination while the car is on the move. We'd recommend passengers are left to do the distracting work of selecting a new destination.

Top-of-the-range HSE models also increase by £175 and now cost £43,715 for the diesel and £48,720 for the V8 petrol.
